Stacks on Stacks on Stacks, SIR!

Stacks, I love them, ask anyone that has drafted with me. I can't comprehend why people don't stack especially if it's sitting right in front of them. While I can understand that they aren't for everyone, I can't understand why people don't grab a RB or preferably a WR that stacks with their QB. Example... You take Mahomes and Kelce, this will hardly ever happen although I did pull it off in one Underdog draft, when Kele scores a touchdown you will get dbl points for it because you also have the QB that threw the ball. Same thing goes for WR and RB. Generally you aren't going to put your stack on a TE because, lets face it, there are only 4-5 good ones.

I like to take it to another level, but I also like being different. I'll start with the weekly winners draft on Underdog. The entire point of this draft isn't to necessarily win it all, yes you heard me right. The point is to draft a team that will win one week. That's it! Just one week and you will win $20,000. I know you want to stop reading right now and go check it out, but you have waited this long so lets finish this very informative article first! Lets break down what I have been doing for the weekly winners. If I had an endless supply of money in my bank account I would just do a draft for every team... le sigh, so I try to get two teams into one draft. One of the teams are elite and the other is a hope and a prayer.

Lets use one of my favorite drafts as an example :

My first stack is BAL - QB - Lamar, RB - Dobbins, Edwards, Gordon - WR - Flowers, Bateman, Agholor, Duvernay - TE - Andrews, Likely, As you can see I have pretty much corned the market on BAL. Now lets look at my second stack which is still good, but I don't have all the elite players.

SEA - QB - Smith - RB - Charbonnet - WR - Lockett, Smith-Njigba, Eskridge - TE - Fant, Dissly, Parkinson

So based on that alone my chances are pretty good for the Ravens to win at least one week right... keeping in mind that you have to win against everyone that is playing in the contest, not just your division. It will all come down to who has the better stack plus who picks that one special sleeper, What's great is the following week you have the chance to win all over again. My second stack isn't as great, but it still may be just enough to squeak by if someone on the team gets hurt.

Whenever I draft with people I always seem to be the only one that stacks so hardcore. My projection is always one of the lowest, but thats because it's projecting for the season. For this draft I don't care if I don't win week 17.... get it? So to recap - stacking = good. Stacking = more points, Stacking = simple when broken down.

I know what youre thinking. Does she stack like this all the time? No no I don't. I must be honest though I will try to stack a QB, RB, WR and TE so I get the points all around, but TE is just a throw away spot now that I don't really reach for that unless it falls into my lap. Then just fill in the other spots with my gut feeling/ADP and try to pick those one or two players that may have a few breakout games and set me apart.

I hope if you haven't stacked up to this point that you will give it a shot. Even as an experiment... pick $1 draft and try it out. I promise it will be fun to see those points "stack" up!

Please let me know if I convert you into a stack lover. I would love to see your lineup if you do!

Have a great football season and leave me alone on Sunday's! :)
